Recentemente premiata con il "TV Technology Award", la scheda KMV-3901 di Miranda è un sistema multiviewer veramente compatto, con fino a 20 uscite in un frame da 3RU consumando solo 300 Watts in totale. Il suo set di caratteristiche la rendono ideale per la produzione e ancora di più se adottata per le applicazioni negli obvan. La scheda KMV-3901, anche chiamata Kaleido-Modular fornisce la stessa leggendaria qualità d'immagine del Kaleido-X ed usa gli stessi strumenti software per permettere l'integrazione con qualunque altro componente della famiglia Kaleido.

La scheda KMV-3901 accetta 8 input HD/SD-SDI & 3Gbps che possono essere visualizzati su 2 display ad alta risoluzione. La scheda può anche essere comprata nella configurazione 8x1. Lo switch 8x8 integrato permette ai segnali di essere ripetuti su qualunque delle 8 finestre. Il segnale Audio, il video Time Code e i dati AFD/WSS possono essere estratti per essere mostrati sullo schermo. 8 processori forniscono la massima qualità alle immagini ridimensionate. Ogni uscita HDMI ad alta risoluzione può essere scalata fino a 1920x1200 pixel e può essere configurato per utilizzare il monitor in verticale o in orizzontale.

Le porte di controllo (Ethernet, RS-422) sono utilizzate per l'editing del layout, il controllo remoto, o per l'interfacciamento con sistemi di terze parti. Un segnale di riferimento (video e time code) può essere connesso al frame tramite la scheda REF-1801, per minimizzare il tempo di processo ma anche per sincronizzare gli orologi di riferimento mostrati sul display. L'ora del giorno può anche essere sincronizzata da un server NTP.

The Kaleido-Modular is optimized to minimize the lips sync error that is normally introduced by the scaling process within the multi-viewer. The card only requires less than ½ frame of delay to process the signal.

► Facilmente espandibile

Tight integration with NVISION and third party routers allow expansion to up to 1152 inputs and 288 multi-viewer outputs. In a system with multiple multi-viewer cards and an upstream router, operation becomes totally seamless making all these individual devices look like a single large system for a great simplification of configuration and operation. When creating layouts, the operator can see all heads from the different devices that are included in its room.

► Affidabile

Intelligent card configuration storage on the Densité 3 controller allows quick recovery when inserting cold spare for replacing a card. The new card will automatically be recognized and will receive configuration from the controller, then last visible layout will be loaded. Plus, IP address will be re-assigned automatically removing the need for hazardous manual intervention.

The Kaleido-Modular and Densité Series cards can cohabit in the same Densité 3 frame for optimization of space and cost effectiveness.

► HDMI cable retainer

Since the space on the KMV-3901 rear module is restricted, there was no space to offer the HDMI with screw securing mechanism. For this reason, a special locking mechanism is included. The mechanism is adjustable for many sizes of cable and shells.

DXF-200-C: the DXF-200-C is supplied with 3 cables to allow easy interconnection to various types of displays and the Kaleido-Module HDMI in which case, the cable cannot use the locking screw mechanism since a different mechanism is supplied with the product.
